My name is Chill & although I’m a similar size to a standard poodle, I am not a pure breed; I am a non-shedding poodle mix.
If you would like to adopt a rescue dog who is very relaxed, handsome & easy going - look no further as I’m your man!
I’ve had a pretty tough life living on the streets of Phuket, Thailand for most of my life & one day I was in the wrong place at the wrong time & got captured by some nasty dog smugglers.
I was thrown into the back of a large truck & hauled off with many other dogs towards the slaughter house where the dog meat trade dogs end up. Thankfully this truck was intercepted at the border & my cage was off loaded under police order & I was one of the lucky dogs to get free that day.
The people at Doggie Heaven rescue centre have housed me since my escape & they have given me a lovely place to rest & recover from this horrific & torturous ordeal. I’ve been at Doggie Heaven for nearly 6 months now & thankfully I have had time to rest & enjoy my life again.
I am now fully vaccinated & very healthy, & my life is a lot better than living on the streets - scavenging for my food & so much better than ending up on someone’s dinner plate.
Doggie Heaven is not where I want to spend the rest of my days, as I deserve so much better than this. I am a loving, cuddly fluff ball who has so much affection to give to a new owner or a family, as I love children.
If you are looking to make a difference in the world & adopt a dog rescued from the illegal dog meat trade, please consider adopting me. The people at Doggie Heaven rescue centre say they will help organise my flying requirements should I be adopted to the US, Canada or Europe.

Remember Alf.. heres a update on this beautiful boy ..
Well thanks to a wonderful friend - Leo Plaistowe - has been fostering him at her home in Mission hills, Phuket, where she lives with her 2 dogs (Lucky & Scrappy) - she has been nursing him back to health for the past 6 weeks & finally earlier this week, she called me & said, ” hes chasing my dog Scrappy around & bouncing all over the place, so, so happy & finally healthy! “
i siad to her “thanks Leo for looking after him you have been a wonderful nurse & now its time to find this big teddy bear a permanent home”
I rescued this adorable old guy on the 17th April & i found him in severe pain with a busted ass ( excuse the language) somehow he had split his bottom open & was spending his days laying down in the wet dirt at the government dog holding facility in phuket, unable to move, cause of the pain & the infection started to spread & before long he couldn’t stand up & had been locked up down the back in a small shed
When i saw the pain he was in, i couldn’t just turn my back, a little voice inside my head, said you must help this old guy… so before i knew it he was in my arms & we were headed directly to the local vets… Read on for the rest of Alf’s miraculous recovery …
REMEMBER JACKPOT? something every strange happened to him 3 days ago & he’s got progressively worse, to the point where he cannot even stand up now, he’s lost all power in his body & is lifeless… thank goodness he’s just started eating again, but neither the vets or anyone at Doggie Heaven can work out whats going on for this poor boy ??
maybe you can shed a light on it ??
