OH WHAT TO DO ? ….. ITS ALWAYS A TOUGH DECISION WHEN YOU HAVE TO TAKE SOME OTHER HELPLESS BEINGS LIFE INTO YOUR HANDS…
Princess was one of the unlucky old girls to have kidney failure in her old age & sadly her heath has been deteriorating since we rescued her 6 weeks ago from the dog pound, where she was literary fighting for her life, with about 300 other stray dogs all mulling around, pushing & shoving in the same enclosure, some fighting thru lack of territory & pure hunger & drawing blood- as you can see the last photo of her on the day we rescued her Feb 3rd.
It feels really great to have shown her some peace in the last 6 weeks of her life, somewhere where she could rest her weary head & die in Peace… so to speak.
Another one in “Doggie Heaven”
Adam Gray from Australia has adopted our long time residents - Roxy & Chico & he told me today he has renamed them Aramis (on the left) & Portia (on the right)
Thanks Adam for being so kind to give them both a loving home, i know they will fast become your best friends & follow you around everywhere, Enjoy you 2 angels, i will miss them both !!
Hooray for Cuddles…. today this little cuddle bug found herself a lovely family to adopt her & as you can see from these cute photos her new play mate little guy- Anthony- is the new love of her life.
Remember Buttercup? This sweet wee pup that was dumped outside our gate at DOGGIE HEAVEN just a few days before Christmas - well as soon a her photos were placed on Facebook, friends shared her photos with friends & so on…then what do you know, a lovely couple in the USA
( Darren & Amy Pedersen) saw her photos & feel completely in love, saying she looked exactly like their dog they lost a few months earlier to cancer, & they decided to adopt her & buy her a first class ticket to America…. & the rest is history !!
Buttercup was on the next plane to Canada & is now safe & sound in the arms of her new loving family & has been renamed Ana
This beautiful girl, i called RAG DOLL ( because of the way she looked when i first saw her, trying to find food in the local dumpster) is a cuddly, affectionate, loving soul, who is as pretty as an Angel.
Loves her daily walks in the woods or on the beach & has now made friends with all the others at Doggie heaven & is really enjoying her new life, she becoming more trusting of humans & slowly getting ready to adopt a family of her own.
